CMD

Syntax: #CMD command

Executes the specified internal command. TeSSH has many internal commands that can be executed. Most are assigned to a menu item and can also be executed via the #MENU command by specifying the exact menu caption path.

However, if a menu item is moved to a different location, then the #MENU command would need to be updated to reflect the new location. Using #CMD you can execute the command directly without needing to know where it is located in the menu system.

CMD example

displays the Aliases settings editor screen.

Each internal command has a fixed internal name. Most of these names correspond to obvious menu commands, and each command will not be documented here. But here is a list of valid command names:
